Adam Palmer
I’m a photographer with four years of chasing light, shadows and stories, sometimes through wide open landscapes and other times down crowded city streets. Based in the North East of England, I’m lucky enough to be surrounded by rolling hills, rugged coastlines and skies that never seem to look the same twice. Out there, I try to capture the quiet poetry of nature, whether it’s the calm of a misty morning or the drama of waves colliding with the cliffs.
With that being said, I’m just as fascinated by the rhythm of urban life. In cities like London, Manchester and Newcastle, I’m drawn to those fleeting moments that tell a bigger story: an unguarded glance, a hurried step, the theatre of everyday life unfolding. I like to edit these scenes with a cinematic touch, adding mood and atmosphere so they feel more like frames from a film than simple snapshots.
For me, photography is a balance between craft and curiosity. It’s not just about pressing a button, it’s about noticing, waiting, and sometimes getting rained on for hours just to catch that one shot worth keeping.
If you’ve found yourself wandering onto this little corner of the internet, I hope my photography has sparked even the smallest flicker of inspiration. That’s the real reward for me — not awards, not algorithms, just the thought that someone out there has paused for a moment and enjoyed what they’ve seen.
And if that someone happens to be you, don’t be shy. Drop me a message below. After all, hearing from the one person who made it this far would mean more to me than a thousand likes.
